Eastern Power Surge

Multinationals from very poor Asian countries are now emerging, with a growth rate of income and success exceeding those of their western counterparts.

This indicates a great shift in wealth and power. They were once rated as second-class multinational companies, but it seems that they are winning the race to global success.

Here isAntoine van Agtmael's ranking of the multinational companies that boomed through the past few years:

  1. Samsung
  2. Hyundai
  3. Taiwan Semiconductor
  4. Hon Hai
  5. Lenovo
  6. Infosys
  7. Cemex
  8. CVRDEmbraer
  9. Grupo Modelo
